Wrestling Podium Radio was founded by Elham Heidari Parnian, an Iranian-Canadian National Wrestling Referee and a freelance wrestling journalist in Canada, co-founded by Marzieh Darabi in 2015 on the premise of giving an exclusive visibility of Olympic oldest sport.
Wrestling Podium Wrestling is a non-profit association formed under Alberta Corporate Registry, Canada.
Journalism and Gender Equity
We believe the attendance of our female members in international wrestling tournaments will help to expand the equal presence of men and women journalists in wrestling world which is one of the main objectives of IOC toward gender equity in sports.
Voice of Podium Podcast
In our monthly podcasts we are interviewing athletes, officials, and commentators who rarely make it to the headlines. Voice of Podium Podcast is a subset of Wrestling Podium Radio to give agency and voice to wrestling community especially to those coming from marginalized groups in the sport of wrestling.
